FREEFLY ALTA 8 – MOVI PRO

Our Alta 8 is primarily used for cinema  and commercials, it is capable of making cameras and optics, often required by directors or producers.

We recently shot the all-new Volkswagen or Nike release commercial, where we had to wear Dragon Red or Alexa Mini with anamorphic optics from Vantage Films.

Our Freefly Alta 8 drone is a very reliable machine, equipped with 8 engines, we know this drone perfectly and doing several tests before a shoot.

We can put an M15 or MoviPro above and below the drone at the same time.

With the addition of 2 additional engines on the Freefly Alta 8, this Octocopter raises up to 10 kilos of load. Very stable in flight, powerful it ensures a flight of quality without vibration. The drone is equipped with numerous sensors, it is managed by the SYNAPSE flight controller allowing the pilot to perform complex flight paths with great precision. It is also possible to control the speed of movement in real time, to focus on controlling the movements of the camera. With 2 batteries of 16mAh, the ALTA can fly and film your sequences for 17 to 35 minutes depending on the weight of the load. The perfect balance between weight and performance allows it to carry a payload of 11.9kg (load + batteries), for a weight of 6.2kg, offering the ability to ship the heavier cameras on the market. In addition, the Alta’s engines have been optimized for speed, reliability and robustness, as well as minimizing vibrations to ensure image sharpness and stability.
