We flew our drones on the Ironman World Championship which took place from October 6th to 8th in kauina kona in Hawaii. Indeed for the 3rd consecutive year ASO (Amaury Sport Organisation) mandates us to provide aerial drone images in addition to the other ground cameras and the 2 helicopters. 17 hours of live with a device comprising 16 cameras including 3 motorcycles, 2 helicopters, 1 crane, 1 Steadycam, 1 Drone, 1 Flycam, 1 Ronin and 6 fixed cameras. For the first time, the women’s and men’s events are held on 2 separate days. We provided the aerial images of the swimming events, the swim-bike and bike-run transitions, then the finishes and beauty. We are very happy and very proud to be on such an event. We use DJI inspire 2 type drones equipped with X7 full frame camera.
