AERIAL CINEMATOGRAPHY FOR COMMERCIALS
We shot all week in the heart of Paris for an adidas ad. The English production and the American director chose Freeway prod among other drone delivery production company for our knowledge and our knowledge on the framing and composition of the image. The director chose to work with us because he saw our work and our videos on the Dakar and he wanted to give the same dynamism in his images and his realization. We did not only use the drone but we also had a lot of machinery in order to put our cameras on all axes.
SERVICE AND PRODUCTION FOR COMMERCIALS
The request of our client was to fly our drones in Paris and its suburbs but also to commit ourselves to put us in charge of the machinery and tools of shooting like for example a RC Car able to take a Alexa Mini, we also used a black arm on dolly tracking and the easy rig to carry our Movi. On the set there were 2 Alexa mini cameras, camera B on foot and on machinery and the camera A reserved for the Movi, RC car, dolly and black arm. It was very quickly necessary to understand the plan that the director wanted in order to adapt the appropriate machinery.
A DRONE FOR COMMERCIAL
We used the DJI inspire 2 with the X7 camera and the 4 dedicated optics. We shoot a lot with this drone and this camera for advertising. Our drone advertising service went very smoothly, the goal was to mix drone aerial shots with ground footage in a single shot sequence. We will have to mix our drone plans with the 2 cameras Alexa Mini, we have for that turn with the camera X7 with a Cinema DNG codec and 4k.
FREEFLY ALTA AND MOVI PRO SHOOTING
We know the Freefly tools very well since we have several Alta 8 and Alta 6 drones then Movi pro and Movi M15. We are able with our team to set up a whole machinery and adapt our tools to the shooting that the director wants. It’s about being efficient and fast on the set, being able to change lenses as fast as possible and re-balancing our gimbal so we do not have to wait for production.
SHOOTING IN PARIS FOR ENGLISH PRODUCTIONS
Our shoot was mainly located in the heart of Paris. We had to ask for all necessary permits for our shoot which lasted a whole week. Our client asked us to take care of the authorizations, the preparation and also all the techniques and machinery that the American director needed. We are very happy with this shoot, which went wonderfully well, our client is happy and we shot very beautiful ground and aerial images.
